Natural Family Botanicals

A Treasure Trove of Tidbits

NFBotanicals Customers are Amazing!

March 3rd, 2010 Posted in Consumer Awareness

I am so proud of our customers! I have been getting comments from many customers who have taken responsibility for their skin care and are researching ingredients and being conscientious of what they put on their and their families skin. They are showing increased awareness of the chemicals that are in most big name cosmetics, skin care, bubble baths, and shampoos and choosing to put safety ahead of price.

The first step to being a conscious, responsible consumer is to know what you are buying. Reading labels is a must! Don’t be fooled by the products natural sounding name or that they have the word “organic” or “natural” on the label. If it has ingredients with the words paraben, methylparaben, or urea be aware that there is nothing natural about it at all!

If you are looking for information about chemical additives in skin care products and their dangers then you can follow a couple links that are posted on our website. Go to http://www.nfbotanicals.com/important.html and you will find those links.

Keep up the good work and pass on the knowledge that you glean. The more people who become aware of what they are putting on their skin and choose to use only natural products the better our health and our families health will be.

Are you new to blogging?  I am!  It’s quite a bit of work getting a blog uploaded and then trying to figure out how to make it work. But I have finally done it…now I need to have something to “blog” about!

Besides keeping you updated with new products and website specials I would love to share about new skin care information I know or learn about and also useful and interesting tidbits that I learn and discover about natural oils, herbs, and other botanicals that can help make your skin and life better.

If you have a question or want to know about something that relates to skin care or herbal health and healing please ask.  Others may have the same concern and we can start some great conversations here.

May your New Year be filled with good health, happiness, and prosperity!

Best wishes, Kelly
