Originating from the Mediterranean, the annual borage plant is also called a starflower. The oil is extracted from the seeds of the herb.
Incredibly high in omega-6 fatty acids, this healing oil also contains salicylic acid, calcium and magnesium. As a result, your skin will become more supple and smooth to the touch. Scars will fade more and dark under-eye circles will no longer plague you in the mornings.

You can mix equal amounts of evening primrose and borage oils and keep with your skin care products. I love evening primrose and borage plants! They are so easy to grow, look beautiful in the garden, and attract beneficial insects, especially honey bees. I wanted to share with you some photos that I have taken of these plants in my garden. I hope you enjoy them!
Evening Primrose (above) See how tall they can get! In the evening, just before it gets dark, lots of the flower buds towards the top of the stem open so fast that you can watch them unfold! They quickly attract an amazing and beautiful moth! So fun to grow.
Borage(above) This intense blue flower will attract TONS of honey bees! (In fact, you can see a bee in the pic to the far left) The leaves are furry but very tasty with a cucumber-like taste and make a great addition to salads. They are also easy to grow and reseed themselves for many years of beauty and increased pollination in your garden.
