Our Story

Handmade herbal skincare from a pine meadow in Southern Oregon—made the slow way since 2002. No factories or unnecessary fillers, just thoughtfully chosen ingredients, formulated by hand in small batches.

As a young mother, I couldn’t find simple skincare without the harsh and unnecessary ingredients I wanted to avoid. Drawing on more than 20 years of herbal study, I began making my own.

Caring for women and families has been at the heart of my life for decades, and that same desire to nurture and serve continues to guide everything I create.

My first cream was created for a friend’s child with extremely dry, troubled skin. Seeing the comfort it provided inspired me to keep formulating—and Natural Family Botanicals was born.

Still Handmade, Still Small

Every product is handcrafted in small batches in Merlin, Oregon, using organic and wild-harvested herbs—many grown right here on our property with help from my husband during each seasonal harvest.

Today, the collection includes more than 35 products created especially for dry, sensitive, mature, and problem-prone skin. Each formula is still carefully made, tested, and refined just as my very first cream was.
